I began my Contest-Prep on August 6th for my Competition on November 3rd for a total of 12 weeks in prep...not too bad & I really could have done better had I taken a full 16 weeks but it just wasn't in the plan. This was an intense 12 weeks of training - 6 Days a week/3 Times a Day + eating a clean diet with balanced amounts of Protein/Carbs/Fats specifically broken down for my particular needs/goals.
What an amazing experience, #167!!! I placed 2nd in Masters (over 45 yrs old) & 4th in both the Novice & Open Classes!! I am so proud of this accomplishment, & where I placed. I met some amazing women & had such a great time!!! ♥ I had some incredible people, including my husband, my kids, & all my friends that supported me & gave me so much support throughout this journey...could not have done it without them!! Of course we followed up the competition with a celebration with my friends & my boys....My after meal was a beautiful burger, fries, & a beer!!! ♥¸ The Competition Pics - Pictured is with only 2 of my boys & my husband (one of my boys & 2 step-daughters could not attend). I had many friends that supporting me also, although for some reason, I'm not able to upload the friends pic :(
